The core hound is a huge molten lava beast found in the depths of the World of Warcraft underground. Core hounds are known for their vile lava spewing breath and their ferocity when challenged by an enemy. Core hounds are a new exotic pet family introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack.
